We first started out in business out of a necessity for a mom to initially stay home with her daughter who was born with a few developmental challenges that needed various therapies to help her. She is thriving well because of this early intervention.! The first business had to be put up because of her recent diagnosis - but as they say 'Out of Challenges ~ Opportunity Arises.' And Balanced Expressions LLC was born and now it used to continue to support her various needs and her budding talents as an Artist.!
Balanced Expressions LLC was started in 2011 as a unique idea of putting a single mom's talents & creative artwork to good use. Being a single mom to a 7 year old who has a slight disability means that I GET how STRESSFULL life can be with trying to juggle it all and finding time for Relaxation!
In creating Balanced Expressions LLC I HELP to remind you and myself about relaxing by creating visually appealing creative graphic designs & artwork, by using sayings, humor, symbols to get the message across about taking life as it comes.
It then morphed fairly quickly when the 'My Life is More Colorful' T-shirt design for Autism awareness took off with sales soaring within 3 weeks.
Since then Balanced Expressions LLC through working with other mothers, children, as well as being a mom herself saw the need to create a scholarship fund for families in need to sponsor a child/children so they can participate in positive community activities that enrich children's lives.
All of T-shirts, Tanks, Hoodies & Sweatshirts have been researched to ensure that they meet vigorous guidelines for quality and durable at affordable costs. Our shirts are chosen because 100% cotton is breathable, gets softer with washing and is comfortable to wear which makes everyone happier. When possible we always choose shirts etc. that are made right here in the USA or from materials made in the USA. That is important to me as a mother, a Veteran and a consumer! I work closely with my vendors to make sure that I am getting the best value for the quality. Because of these relationships I am therefore able to pass that quality and good values down to my customers.
All my designs are created from colored pencil, pastel chalks, oil pastels & Authentic Chinese paints used to create symbols & drawings, logos & portraits. We also use 'free for commercial use graphic design templates' and enhances them with own creativity and thoughtful quotes.
Themes such as Yin Yang symbols, Dolphins, Islands, Beaches, Children, Palm Trees that are used on mostly on t-shirts, sweatshirts but can be used for other unique custom gifts, for kitchen, home and other decor items and promotional items for businesses.
All of my designs can be customizable for additional cost by the consumer and I work closely with all my customers to ensure that they are well satisfied with all their purchases.
I take all types of requests and suggestions and make interesting, wonderful products that many enjoy.
